The first time the BMAF Indoors had taken place at Pickett’s Lock’s new indoor stadium. I got knocked out of the 60m in the heats, so unexpectedly had more time than I planned to take pictures on the Saturday! Further down the page you’ll find 2008’s event. |

My gallery of photos from Helsinki contains many gaps! I raced every day myself, missed the M50 60m final by 0.01 of a second, and got knocked out in the 200m semi-final despite recording sixth fastest time overall. Still, I was part of the M50 squad that won gold in the 4x200m relay. Compensation enough! The rest of the time I was trackside with the camera. These are mostly pictures of the GB Team. |

I’m proud to be a member of SCVAC, alongside some of the best Masters athletes in Great Britain. The 2007 Championships took place on a superb warm day at Ashford. I even won some medals and set a personal best! |

We photographers were a body short all weekend, so my coverage is a bit “selective” as I needed to warm up for, and compete in the M50 100 and 200 metres. Apologies to field eventers too, this is all track stuff. I’d like to have put names against all of the pictures here, but it would have been too big a job, and most of you know who you are, anyway. |

These Championships were held in a heat-wave. Unfortunately, work commitments meant I had to return to the UK mid way through, and return later. However, I think my coverage is pretty good in the circumstances! |

Wow! A memorable week, for all the right reasons, and some of the wrong ones too. These Championships are hard work when you’re racing and taking photographs, but I’d not have missed these. |
