Over the last five years or so, I’ve found time to gather my thoughts and produce a few articles for publications such as Britain’s “Masters Athletics” magazine, and “The Southerner”, the quarterly journal of the Southern Counties Veterans Athletics Club.
Some of these articles are reflections on particular championships, others are my take on some of the issues affecting Masters athletics—particularly issues related to age-ism. Rather than just have these gathering cyberdust on my hard drive, I’ve reproduced the best of them on this site.
I make no claims for great literature with any of this, but a few people have been kind enough to say they enjoy my occasional Blog on this site, so they may just enjoy these articles too.
When I get the chance, I’ll get them turned into individual PDF files too.
