The Italian city of Bologna had been on my hit list of places to visit for some time. It a city with a long history, back to before the Romans, much of it well-documented. Bologna also, with some justification, clams to be the home of many aspects of Italian cuisine. It is renown for pasta and cured meats in particular. Eating well, and surprisingly cheaply, was never a problem during our visit.
Art and architecture abound. With many kilometres of arcaded streets, Bologna is an attractive city at ground level - well, the city centre is, at least.
My photos on this visit were nearly all shot and edited on an Apple iPhone 6. I was testing its ability to handle low light on many occasions. It proved itself a worthy tool.
